I get the technical aspect of it, but I don't think it's that big of a deal, they could just leave the provinces the same after a conquest and if you rebuild them they switch to your culture and such. I mean, the province system works more or less like in Planetfall, but even more simplified and that game has more races than AOW4 has cultures. ![]() ![]() ![]() People are already complaining about that effect being caused by research, where the game is checking every object in your rule whether it is affected or not by the latest research effects. Such feature would need to check the cities under each ruler's control every turn and swap assets which can be an instense resource hungry procedure. aside of the obvious effort-and-time-taking, what happens after conquest.
